*** This part of the website is under continuous development and more information is being added on an ongoing basis. ***
It is our aim to make as much information as possible freely and readily available to churches and other faith-based organisations. We recognise that there is a significant amount of information here and we endeavour to make it as accessible and easy to navigate as possible, however our prime aim is to help churches to develop Biblically faithful, God-honouring, robust and effective approaches to safeguarding that are in line with best practice within the field. As such, quality of information is more important to us than brevity.
Resources that are available for download are:
Safeguarding Audit Tool – “How Healthy & Safe Toolkit ” helps you to understand the issues you need to think through. Our triallers report that the audit takes around 90 minutes to complete as a safeguarding team. The outcome of completing the exercise helped and supported them to think through where their gaps were in considering every department and ministry of the church.
Competency Framework – helps you to understand the knowledge and skills that your staff and volunteers need. It is also useful for developing effective training and development.
